I love losing myself in illustrations and exploring other themes than my usual suspects: plants and flowers. I could spend the whole day drawing bikinis, for example. Which is rather odd for a green loving girl who rarely visits beaches, but I love the summery atmosphere. For the Dutch magazine Libelle I recently illustrated many pages in their garden issue, out in March 2018. This more illustratieve style I apply to ‘conversational’ patterns too. I love using watercolour, gouache, pen and ink.
