Ever since I sewed clothes for my dolls I’ve loved pretty fabrics. My mother brought home lovely ones from Liberty and Laura Ashley for tablecloths, napkins and hair bands. I’m so glad I finally took the chance to design my own fabrics.
For Basil I designed a floral print for bicycle bags. A print that had to visible from 20 metres distance and attract different client groups. We chose the magnolia as it is such a breathtaking flower that will surely grab your attention. The very solid and waterproof bags are available in different shapes and colour ways and available at the beginning of November 2017.
Tableware company Bunzlau Castle has used some of my designs on woven plaids. Textile company B&B Fabrics introduced three hand drawn fabrics: Tea Time, At the Farm and Cottage Garden. They are printed in several colourways on various fabrics like cotton and linen look. These designs can be licensed for other product groups than textile, by the way.
A sneak peek of some of my fabric designs is shown here, but there’s much more. Do ask for my portfolio with available fabric designs and pattern collections for interior fabrics and quilting.
